Anaheim Hills With Bushwhacking

Just a few of us boys showed up for Saturday’s Anaheim Hills ride. Because we didn’t have a large group, I decided to do a little bushwhacking. There is a stretch of old and abandoned access road off of Santa Ana Road that takes us up toward the top of Serrano. It was actually pretty fun.  It eventually merges into a trail head access point to a residential neighborhood, but while riding I heard someone say, “Hey, I think the Manson Family had their compound up here!”

That will henceforth be the name of this road, Manson Family Road, and it will be an official variation of the Anaheim Hills loop.
